In ProgressPhase 5 — AI Security & Governance
July – September 2026
OMEGA Project is currently undertaking a twelve-week research programme aligned with the eight GIAC GAIPS (AI Platform Security) knowledge domains. OMEGA Project serves as the practical engineering environment throughout, with architecture decisions, implementation notes and research findings documented as the work progresses.
Planned
PlannedThe following initiatives are planned once the current GAIPS research programme has been completed.
Image Generation
- ComfyUI
- Stable Diffusion
- FLUX
Agentic AI
- Tool use
- Multi-step reasoning
- Workflow orchestration
- Multi-agent collaboration
Software Supply Chain Security
- Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
- Dependency analysis
- Supply chain intelligence
Vulnerability Intelligence
- CVE ingestion
- SBOM correlation
- Vulnerability enrichment
- AI-assisted triage
Home Assistant Integration
- Controlled API exposure
- Context-aware automations
- Local AI decision support
- Voice interaction
- Privacy-preserving architecture
Looking Ahead
OMEGA Project is intentionally iterative. As research progresses, new questions emerge, technologies evolve, and priorities change. This roadmap is therefore a living document rather than a fixed delivery schedule.
The objective is not to implement technology for its own sake, but to understand how modern AI systems can be engineered, secured, governed, and integrated responsibly using sound engineering principles.
