Role in OMEGA Core
Every architecture decision, security finding and journal entry on this site started as a Wiki.js page. Treating it as the actual source of truth — rather than a copy of documentation that also lives in this repository — avoids the two ever quietly drifting apart.
Two Accounts, On Purpose
Unlike Gitea, Wiki.js has no built-in way to link an existing local account to a new SSO identity — logging in via Authentik for the first time creates a genuinely separate account rather than attaching to the one already there. Rather than force a merge, both accounts were kept: the original local account as a fallback, and the Authentik-linked one for day-to-day login. If Authentik is ever unreachable, local login still works.
