Authentik SSO is an additional login path — local login is never disabled. See Authentik
Known Limitation
Grafana's SSO integration currently grants the same fixed role to anyone who completes an Authentik login, rather than checking who they actually are — safe today only because there's one real user in this Authentik instance. Tracked as long-term technical debt rather than left undocumented; the fix is either restricting who can reach Grafana via Authentik in the first place, or a real group-based role mapping.
